Really violent Bruce Willis action film that reissued a controversial

Bruce Willis plays the avenging angel in Death Wish and works with extreme severity. This is of course a perfect fit because the film on which this one is based was highly controversial and was on our index for many years. You can watch the remake on TV today.

TV tip: That’s what Death Wish with Bruce Willis is about

Paul Kersey (Bruce Willis) is actually very happy with his life and a peaceful fellow. That suddenly changes when his wife and daughter become the targets of a nasty violent crime and the police seem unable to arrest those responsible.

The father goes on one brutal revenge campaignto find his family’s murderers himself. Paul Kersey doesn’t hesitate when he has to deal with other outlaws and is even celebrated by some people and media in the city for his vigilante actions.

Paul Kersey (Bruce Willis) also uses very unorthodox methods in Death Wish.

Death Wish is based on the classic of the same name and is in no way inferior to its hardness

Death Wish with Bruce Willis from 2018 is one Eli Roth reissue of the highly controversial 1974 classic, which we called A Man Sees Red. In it, Charles Bronson played the vigilante avenging angel who willingly allows himself to be attacked on the streets of New York in order to kill the perpetrators.

The original was in Germany on the index until 2018. So exactly until the year the remake was released in cinemas. A Man Sees Red has now been released uncut for ages 16 and up, Death Wish is from 18. And rightly so: there are some really violent scenes and the vigilante theme remains, of course, just as questionable as it was in the 1970s.
