US President Joe Biden has had to endure harsh criticism for his action against rival Donald Trump during the night of Friday, not least on social media.
During the debate, it was sometimes difficult to follow Joe Biden’s reasoning and he lost his way on several occasions.
Faced the criticism
During a rally on Friday, Biden responded to the criticism. He admitted that he is no longer a “young man” and does not debate as well as before.
– But I know what I know. I know how to tell the truth, Biden said.
It has also raised concerns within his own party, while Trump’s side declared itself victorious after the debate. Now several heavy democrats have spoken out about the way forward.
