Really bizarre action film with Mel Gibson as Santa Claus

You would actually think that things would be more cozy with Santa Claus. But that doesn’t seem to be the case when we look at Fatman with Mel Gibson, which is available to stream. Here Santa Claus has to deal with the military and a killer.

Now streaming: That’s what Fatman is about

Mel Gibson plays Chris, who is a little older and at least as run-down. His career is no longer going as smoothly as it used to. Santa Claus is in a crisis of meaning and is thinking about quitting his job.

After only giving a naughty child a piece of coal, the snobby boy wants revenge on Santa Claus, whom he only calls Fatman. Worse still: him sets a hit man after him. He comes to Alaska in the form of Walton Goggins (The Hateful Eight), haunts Santa Claus and gives him hell.

Splendid film

Walton Goggins is not to be trifled with as a hitman in Fatman.

Fortunately But Santa Claus knows how to defend himself – and has also just concluded a deal with the US military. This means that his elves are now conveniently no longer making gifts and are instead making weapons. This is of course very convenient for the so-called Fatman.

It couldn’t be more bizarre: Mel Gibson as a wildly firing Santa Claus

Mel Gibson as Santa Claus, who is also called Fatman, is pretty absurd in itself. Of course, his midlife crisis and everything surrounding it fits perfectly. With the Military deal and the professional killer But the film goes several steps further.

Things get really bizarre when Fatman does the whole thing Christmas stuff is finally thrown overboard and becomes a pure action film. Then we can finally concentrate on the brilliant duel between the hitman and the sprightly reindeer sleigh driver. Both shoot wildly around the area, it’s a real joy and there’s no shortage of humor either.

Fatman joins one Series of very bizarre Christmas films
one that puts its own spin on the classic theme. There’s Krampus, for example, in which we have to deal with a pretty bloodthirsty creature, the same applies to Rare Exports – A Christmas Story.

Violent Night with Stranger Things star David Harbor takes a similar approach. Of course, Fatman also brings back memories of Santa Claus from Futurama, armed to the teeth.
