Brazilian genius Vinicius Junior scored a hat-trick to lift Real Madrid to victory at home after two consecutive home defeats. Saturday’s early game of the Spanish league at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium ended with a 4-0 win over Osasuna.
Last weekend in the classic game of the Spanish league, Real, which was beaten by Barcelona at the Bernabeu, also lost at home on Tuesday, when AC Milan was stronger in the Champions League match.
However, Osasuna missed opportunities when Vinicius scored his opening goal of the season Jude Bellingham took Real to a 2–0 halftime lead and in the second half Vinicius scored twice more.
The hat trick was Vinicius’ second in the last four games. Real’s French superstar Kylian Mbappe on the other hand missed the goal again. He has finished with just one goal in his last seven games.
Despite the victory, Madrid had something to think about, because Eder Militao, Lucas Vazquez and Rodrygo were injured. Militao’s injury in particular seems serious. The painful brass top seemed to hurt his knee.
Real is second in the Spanish league, six points behind Barcelona. Osasuna is fifth.
