Do you want a real home cinema experience, but don’t have space for huge sound systems? The solution could be a soundbar with a built-in sound system. The Bose Smart Soundbar 600 has built 5 speakers into a compact housing and offers real Dolby Atmos sound that you can get for under 500 euros.
Compact and powerful: The Bose Smart Soundbar 600
The sound bar from Bose is pleasantly compact at just under 70 cm wide and fits stylishly into your living room. Despite the manageable dimensions, the soundbar has a lot of premium technology built into it. The in-house one TrueSpace technology provides amazingly realistic sound with two upward-firing speakers. It converts films, series or music from stereo into fascinating 5.1 surround sound.
Also the ingenious 3D audio format Dolby Atmos is supported and pulls you into the middle of the action. In contrast to inexpensive entry-level soundbars, the surround sound here is not created virtually, but rather by the built-in audio drivers.
The soundstage is really wide for such a compact soundbar and the small sound bar provides a lot of pressure, making loud blockbusters in particular really fun.
The Bose Smart Soundbar of course lives up to its name and offers you various control options. Use that Amazon Alexa voice controlwhich is directly integrated, or the Google Assistant-Function with a compatible Google device. For quick access to your music, you can also use the included remote control or the Bose Music app.
The Bose Smart Soundbar 600 offers a lot of home theater sound for the money. What you have to keep in mind, however, is that it is more of an entry-level device among soundbars with real Dolby Atmos and its 3D sound can’t quite compete with high-end soundbars or real surround systems. But they also cost significantly more.
