Donald Trump, a politician and businessman who served as the 45th president of the United States between 2017 and 2021, made statements in North Carolina.
In his statement, Trump stated that Venezuela was about to collapse towards the end of his term and said, “When I left, Venezuela was ready to collapse. We would have taken over it, we would have bought all that oil.”
In his statement criticizing the policies of the current US president, Joe Biden, he also said, “We would have had all the oil right next to us, but now we are buying it with money.”
In addition, Trump used the term “dictator”, referring to Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. And Biden accused his government of ‘making a dictator rich’.
