(Tiper Stock Exchange) – The INPS tries to throw water on the fire and put an end to the controversy, bounced from last weekend for the case of SMS with which the Institute would have communicated to 170 thousand families the suspension of the Basic income. Controversy largely fueled by the M5S, which sees in the RdC a flagship measure of its political action, and resulted in the very heated protest this morning in front of the INPS headquarters in Naples.
And so the social security institution specified tonight that, pending the adoption of the new measures against poverty, fragility and social and labor exclusion (ADI and SFL), “le transitional provisions predict that, for some families that cannot be activated for work (and in any case no later than 31 October) a communication of taken over by social services“.
“For these nuclei taken over by social services, the use of the basic income can continuewithout the limit of seven months and, in any case, no later than 31 December 2023“, underlines the INPS, confirming that it has already received 88,000 communications in this regard from the Ministry of Labor-
“The hypothesis of taking charge does not concern the nuclei family members whose members have been started at the Employment Centres and for which referral to social services was not necessary”. For these nuclei – he continues – “from 1st September 2023 will be able to access new measure of Support for Training and Employment (SFL)“, since “the objective of this measure is job placement, while guaranteeing economic support equal to 350 euros per month, for a maximum of twelve months”. “To access the measure, in addition to submitting an application – it is emphasized – it is need to follow a specific procedurewhich will be illustrated in a video guide made available by the Institute”.
“Those who have already been initiated into employment centers and are already included in the national programs for the Workers Employability Guarantee (GOL) or in projects useful to the community or in other activation initiatives – specifies INPS – will be able to continue in their path recognition of the benefit Support for training and workindeed, they can be work placement initiatives already activated were validated“.
“From 1 January 2024the nuclei in which there are people disabled, minors, or at least sixty years of ageor components in a disadvantaged condition and included in care and assistance programs of the local social-health services certified by the public administration, will potentially be recipients of the Inclusion Allowance (ADI), new measure to combat poverty, fragility and social exclusion”, concludes the Institute, assuring that the goal is “to guarantee everyone, in relation to their needs, the economic benefit and the necessary support in the paths of social inclusion and work”.
