The Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro has been announced, featuring a Command Dial, dedicated macro keys, and endless customization options.
Razer, which comes up with new products in the field of player accessories every time, has been making innovations on the keyboard side with the Blackwidow series for a long time. Here, the new model of the series was announced as the Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro, which has a command dial, special macro keys and endless customization options. Keyboard features and company descriptions are as follows;
Razer Blackwidow V4 Pro announced
This latest edition in Razer’s award-winning BlackWidow keyboard lineup has many features to suit any gamer. The Command Dial provides advanced controls and shortcuts for desktop applications and games. In addition, dedicated macro keys allow complex actions to be executed with a single keystroke during heated gaming moments. The keyboard also features per-key Razer Chroma RGB lighting and multi-zone RGB sub-lighting. Thus, it offers almost unlimited customization options and the opportunity to take the game atmosphere to the top.

The keyboard also features 3-sided keyboard backlighting and per-key lighting that works seamlessly with the Razer Chroma RGB lighting ecosystem to deliver a truly immersive gaming experience.”
Customization and Control
Command Dial is preset with 8 default modes, from window zooming to browser tab switching. Additionally, users can program the dial with up to 100 Custom Modes, allowing them to match both clockwise and counterclockwise movements of the dial to their preferred command. For everyday use, users can program multiple application shortcuts such as Photoshop brush size adjustment, timeline progress, and more. Each mode can be changed with a simple click on the Command Dial and is easily identified by the dial’s colour-coded backlight.
There are 5 macro keys placed to the left of the main keyboard layout for easy access. Programmable via Razer Synapse or with on-the-fly macro recording, all of these keys can be used to activate complex actions with a single keystroke. In addition, there are 3 macro keys on the edges of the keyboard. There are 8 macro keys in total, conveniently positioned on the keyboard.
Immersive Razer Chroma RGB
BlackWidow V4 Pro is designed with Razer Chroma RGB for a high-end atmosphere. The keyboard comes with per-key lighting that shines through the transparent key slot for a brighter, more vibrant RGB effect. This is powered by an equally bright 38-zone backlight that extends to the magnetically attached plush faux leather wrist rest, giving the wearer even more RGB immersion.
Via Razer Synapse, users can sync the keyboard with all Razer Chroma RGB enabled devices as well as other 3rd party Chroma Connect products. There are more than 200 Chroma-integrated games available, where Razer Chroma RGB lighting reacts to actions or situations taking place in-game.
Packed with Extra Features
The keyboard features next-generation Razer mechanical switches, with a choice of Green Clicky switch for haptic feedback or Yellow Linear switch for smooth and quiet action. Both variants of the keys are rated for up to 100 million keystrokes.
Some other notable features include: USB 2.0 passthrough, removable Type-C connector, durable 5052 aluminum alloy top case, dual angle legs and polling rate up to 8000Hz. Finally, the keyboard contains internally 2 layers of sound-damping foam and stabilizers to create improved typing acoustics.
