RATP TRAFFIC. The circulation of buses and trams will resume normally this Wednesday, July 5, 2023 after several evenings at a standstill due to the damage caused to public transport during the riots which followed the death of Nahel.

Ile-de-France bus and tram traffic resumes normally this Wednesday, July 5 in the evening. “The Bus, Noctilien and Tramway network service will be provided normally from this evening. Some routes could be modified. Regularly consult our information channels supplied in real time to find out the details of your lines”, writes the RATP on its site.
Buses and trams in Île-de-France had until then been stopped every evening since Thursday June 29, while the day before, 6 buses and a tram had been set on fire in various towns in the Paris suburbs, in the part of the riots that have hit France since the death of Nahel, which occurred on Tuesday June 27 in Nanterre. Only tram line 5 is still at a standstill today.
The RATP announces a total resumption of traffic on Ile-de-France tram and bus lines this Wednesday evening. However, traffic is still interrupted on the whole of line 5 of the tramway “due to damage to [ses] infrastructures” intervened in the context of the riots, indicates the RATP. Substitution buses have been put in place, the resumption of traffic not being planned for today but the end of the weekend.
