RATP STRIKE 28 MARCH. RATP management announced the first estimates of disruptions to the metro, RER, tram and bus network on Tuesday March 28, 2023, during the 10th strike against the pension reform.

[Mis à jour le 27 mars 2023 à 12h09] Parisian transport users will have to face new disruptions this Tuesday, March 28 for the tenth day of interprofessional mobilization against the pension reform, with disrupted traffic in the metro and very disrupted on the RER A and B managed by the RATP . On the other hand, traffic will remain normal in buses, trams and Orlyval.

On the Paris metro lines, traffic will be “normal” on lines 1, 3bis, 4 in the morning, 7bis, 9 and 14. It will also be on line 2 but with reduced hours. On the other lines, traffic will be significantly disrupted. Finally, one out of two trains will be in circulation on RER A and B, although the interconnections at Nanterre Préfecture and Gare du Nord will be maintained. For this Tuesday, March 28, 2023, the Paris transport authority forecasts disrupted traffic in the metro and very disrupted on the RER A and RER B.

  • Metro disruptions :
  • Line 1 : normal traffic. Beware of the risk of saturation!
  • Line 2 : normal traffic only between 5:30 a.m. and 8 p.m.
  • Line 3 : 1 train out of 2.
  • Line 3a : normal traffic.
  • Line 4 : normal traffic in the morning, 3 trains out of 4 in the afternoon. Line closed at 10:15 p.m. due to work.
  • Line 5 : 1 train out of 2 in the morning and 1 train out of 4 in the afternoon only between 5:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.
  • Line 6 : 1 train out of 3 in the morning and 2 trains out of 3 in the afternoon only between 5:30 a.m. and 8 p.m.
  • Line 7 : 2 trains out of 3.
  • Line 7a : normal traffic.
  • Line 8 : 1 out of 2 trains only between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Line 9 : normal traffic.
  • Line 10 : 1 train out of 2 between 5:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. and 1 train out of 3 between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
  • Line 11 : 2 out of 3 trains only between 5:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. Line closed between Belleville and Mairie des Lilas all day for works.
  • Line 12 : 1 train out of 3 between 5:30 a.m. and 8 p.m.
  • Line 13 : 1 train out of 3 between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.
  • Line 14 : normal traffic but the line closes at 10 p.m.
  • RER disruptions : traffic is slightly disrupted on lines A and B of the RER:
  • RER A : very disrupted traffic with 1 train out of 2. Interconnection maintained at Nanterre Prefecture.
  • RER B : very disrupted traffic with 1 train out of 2 all day on the whole line until 10:45 p.m. (works in the north). Interconnection maintained at Gare du Nord.
  • Bus disruptions : bus traffic is normal on the entire network this Tuesday, March 28. Normal traffic on the Noctilien as well.
  • Tram disruptions : traffic is normal on all tram lines this Tuesday, March 28. Normal traffic on the Orlyval as well.

In addition to denouncing an “unfair, brutal and ineffective bill”, as the communicated published by the inter-union of the RATP, the striking agents intend to protect their special pension scheme, which is threatened by the reform of the government. “The interest of having a special regime is first of all to take into account the arduousness of the work.
