STRIKE RATP. RER B, tram T3a and T3b and buses are experiencing disruptions following a strike call this Saturday 28 May. How to get to the Stade de France during the Champions League final?
[Mis à jour le 28 mai 2022 à 21h48] This Saturday, May 28, football fans must be patient: while at the Stade de France Real Madrid and Liverpool are competing in the Champions League final, the RER B trains are disrupted due to a strike at the RATP, with the interconnection suspended at Gare du Nord. The RATP announces to the supporters with a ticket for the match to go to the stop Stade-de-France / Saint-Denis by taking line 12, line 13 or RER D. Also, several bus lines are diverted and two tram lines are disrupted.
For those who go to the fan zone installed at Cours de Vincennes, in the east of Paris, be aware that the Porte de Vincennes station on line 1 is closed. Check out the traffic forecast:
This Saturday, May 28, 2022, RER B, T3a, T3b and buses are experiencing disruptions. Lines 3a and 3b of the trams are partly interrupted. The Porte de Vincennes metro station on line 1 is not served and buses are diverted. Here is what we know so far about the disruptions of the RATP strike on May 28:
- RER disruptions :
- RER A : normal traffic.
- RER B : on the southern part of the RER B line managed by the RATP, 2 trains out of 3 run on average and 4 trains out of 5 run between 5 p.m. and the end of service. Interconnection removed at Gare du Nord. Check the timetables.
- RER C : normal traffic this Saturday 28 May.
- RER D : normal traffic this Saturday 28 May. To get to Stade-de-France / Saint-Denis, take the RER D from Gare du Nord.
- Metro disruptions : This Saturday, May 28, the Porte de Vincennes station on line 1 is not served. However, traffic is normal on all line 1 and the other metro lines.
- Tram disruptions : traffic is disrupted on lines T3a and T3b this Saturday, May 28:
- T3a : traffic is interrupted between Porte de Charenton and Porte de Vincennes until the end of the service.
- T3b : traffic is interrupted between Porte des Lilas and Porte de Vincennes until the end of the service.
- Bus disruptions : traffic is disrupted on Saturday May 28 from 11 a.m., some bus lines are likely to be diverted or their terminus postponed due to demonstrations on the public highway. Check bus traffic forecasts.
The CGT, FO, Unsa and La Base de la RATP unions denounce “the lack of staff maintained for several years by the management of the RER” at the RATP. They judged the management’s proposal to organize two additional training sessions on RER driving in the second half of 2022 insufficient, pointing out that 34 retirements were planned for 2022 on RER A and 22 on RER B. As a result, the unions call this Saturday to “strongly impact” the final of the Champions League which will take place at the Stade de France. “The dysfunctions (…) will persist as long as the proposal [de la direction] is low,” they explained.
