RATP strike metro RER buses trams the disruptions of January

STRIKE RATP. The traffic forecasts for the RATP strike on Tuesday 31 January 2023 are known. RER, metro, bus, trams… Here are all the details of the traffic disruptions.

[Mis à jour le 30 janvier 2023 à 21h30] RATP strike. These two words are synonymous with chaos for some, telework for others. But concretely, what will happen to the mobilization of RATP agents on Tuesday January 31, 2023, on the occasion of the new day of national mobilization against the pension reform? As on the first day of the strike, on January 19, many disruptions are announced on the Paris transport network, starting with the metro.

Some lines will only be partially open on Tuesday (3, 5, 8, 11 and 13) or only at peak times (7, 7bis, 9 and 12), at the rate of 1 train out of 3 or 4 and, again, not all stations will be served. Many will remain closed all day. The only fully automatic lines, 1 and 14 will run normally. But here too, the network being so disturbed next door, a “risk of saturation” cannot be excluded. On the RER side, the A and B are co-managed by the RATP. One in two trains will run during peak hours. Management invites users to telecommute as much as possible and to postpone their trips.

Traffic will be a little more spared on the surface network (bus and tram): eight out of ten buses and trams are expected to run. The management of the RATP called “all travelers who have the possibility to favor teleworking or to postpone their trips on the network that day and apologizes for the planned transport conditions”. Find the details of the disruptions in Parisian transport below.

The management of the RATP unveiled this Sunday the traffic forecasts for the whole day of Tuesday January 31, 2023, marked by an inter-union strike against the pension reform. The metros are extremely disrupted while the surface network (buses, trams) will be less so. Consult below the detail of the traffic by lines:
