As with the brand’s other products, this beauty elixir is formulated from upcycled ingredients, in other words fruits and vegetables considered “ugly”, cannot be marketed and therefore thrown away. A label therefore part of the anti-waste trend, particularly appreciated in the field of beauty. And as for this elixir made in the Var, it is made up of 4 organic vegetable oils andextract of prickly pear organic, one of the most popular assets in this area. Finally, its packaging is entirely made of glass and its label is made from wood pulp, which is biodegradable and compostable. It is therefore quite natural that this product obtained the rating of 100/100 on Yuka. But then, what oil are we talking about? This is the multi-purpose beauty elixir dry oil from the Pulpe de vie brand, sold for 14.90 euros on the brand’s website. We put it through the test bench. Firstly, regarding the application, nothing could be simpler. This is a very easy to handle spray, allowing the material to be generously distributed. And what immediately struck us was mainly the pleasant scent that the elixir leaves behind. A veil that smells like summer! We started by applying it to a made-up face to evaluate its make-up removing power.

And the results are there. The blend of oils helps remove foundation and mascara residue for a significant before and after. On the other hand, on oily skin, like ours, it leaves the skin relatively shiny. But it will be perfect on drier skin. On the hair side, it is undeniable, after having heated the oil in the palm of the hand, it comes to coat the hair fiber without leaving a greasy finish, bluffing. Finally, on the body, the elixir comes to moisturize the skin, while leaving a satin finish, ideal for enhancing your tan. In short, an undeniable must have!
