Rasmus Dahlin is on his way to his best NHL season.
Then he also shows that he is a comic genius.
Now that he might get to play in the Stanley Cup playoffs for the first time in his career.

It was 2018 that Rasmus Dahlin left the safety of Sweden and took the step to the big hockey scene in North America. Expectations were also record high for the young defenseman who was selected No. 1 in the NHL draft by the Buffalo Sabres.

Dahlin’s career

The Trollhättan son also got a real bang for his NHL adventure by scoring an impressive 44 points in 82 games in his debut season. Since then, the 22-year-old has scored a whopping 215 points in 326 games in the world’s best hockey league and is now in his fifth season in North America.

Dahlin is also well on his way to having the best NHL season of his career by horse lengths. The Swede has already broken his scoring record with an unparalleled 55 points in 49 games played, and if he continues at this pace, he can reach over 90 points when the season is summed up.

Dahlin was asked if the NHL should expand and change the Stanley Cup playoffs and then answers in a completely honest but also clever way. And we probably don’t think he’s very aware of how funny his answer actually is.
– I can’t complain about the structure that the NHL has right now. I’ve never played in the playoffs, so I don’t know what it’s like…, he says in an interview with The Athletic.
