Rasmus Dahlin’s beautiful advice to the Junior Crowns goes straight to the heart – here are the words that everyone must hear before the JVM

JVM is coming to Sweden this year.
Then Swedish NHL star Rasmus Dahlin opens up his heart.
To give the most important advice to all players in the Junior Crowns.

In the 2018 NHL Draft wrote Rasmus Dahlin Swedish sports history by being chosen as number 1 by the Buffalo Sabres. Later that year, the super talent also made his debut in the world’s best hockey league and is today one of the NHL’s big stars.

Dahlin in JVM

But before that, Dahlin helped salvage a JVM silver with the Junior crowns in 2018 and despite all the success, it is a medal he will never forget. When the JVM is again to be decided and this time at home in Sweden, the 23-year-old looks back five years.
– It (JVM) is probably one of the most fun tournaments I’ve been to in my career. You are with your friends for such a long time, and it is a journey you make together and to be able to make something good out of it is extremely fun, he tells SVT Sport and continues:
– Then everything happens around, with the media and there are so many big, new things that happen and you have to absorb everything and really enjoy it because it doesn’t happen many times. And since it’s in Sweden this year, it doesn’t make it any worse right away. It will probably be absolutely magical, I think.

Rasmus Dahlin has scored points in the NHL since arriving in the fall of 2018 and had his best season last year with an impressive 73 points in 78 games. This season, the Swedish star defender may well beat that as he tops the internal scoring league and has delivered 28 points in 33 games.

Rasmus’ advice

When Dahlin learns that the JVM is decided precisely in Gothenburg and Scandinavium, where everything once began for him, his stomach tingles. He is really jealous of the players in the Junior crowns.
– I would very much have liked to play the tournament. Especially since I live in Gothenburg in the summers, and my family also lives there. No, I’m very avis, he says to the TV channel.

Rasmus then opens up his heart to give the very best advice to the young Swedes with so many hopes for their future hockey careers. These are words that everyone needs to hear before the JVM kicks off.
– It is important to think day to day. It’s easy to get lost in all the media and everything that’s going on with social media and stuff like that. There are a lot of people watching and supporting, so it’s important to focus on the everyday and work with the team. And then enjoy! That’s probably the biggest thing I have to say. Have fun and enjoy, because it’s maybe only once or twice you get to do it and it’s an incredibly fun tournament, says Dahlin in the interview.
