Rasmus Dahlin scored as his Buffalo beat Toronto 9-3 at home in the NHL tonight. At Tampa Bay, Victor Hedman was behind most of the action as the team won 5-4 against Vegas.
Buffalo and Toronto were closely followed at first and after the first period the home team led by just one goal, 3–2. In others, Buffalo switched up, thanks in part to Rasmus Dahlinwhose wrist shot into the crossbar in game five on three made it 4–2.
Toronto’s Calle Järnkrok certainly looked to reduce just a minute later – with assists from both William Nylander and Timothy Liljegren – but it was also the guests’ last complete hit.
For Buffalo, the three points were clearly welcome, the team has had a tough season so far and is in 14th place in the Eastern Conference, out of 16 teams.
