Rasmus Dahlin scorer in Buffalo’s Sabers total overrun during the night’s NHL

Rasmus Dahlin scored as his Buffalo beat Toronto 9-3 at home in the NHL tonight.
At Tampa Bay, Victor Hedman was behind most of the action as the team won 5-4 against Vegas.

Buffalo and Toronto were closely followed at first and after the first period the home team led by just one goal, 3–2. In others, Buffalo switched up, thanks in part to Rasmus Dahlinwhose wrist shot into the crossbar in game five on three made it 4–2.

Toronto’s Calle Järnkrok certainly looked to reduce just a minute later – with assists from both William Nylander and Timothy Liljegren – but it was also the guests’ last complete hit.

For Buffalo, the three points were clearly welcome, the team has had a tough season so far and is in 14th place in the Eastern Conference, out of 16 teams.

Also Victor Hedmans Tampa Bay, in ninth place in the Eastern Conference, picked up a much-needed win when they hosted Vegas in the nightcap.

The event became a swinging story, where the visitors started by scoring the first two goals before the home team scored four in a row. However, Vegas came back and managed to both reduce and equalize.

But with only 1.13 left on the clock set Nicholas Paul decisive 5–4 after an assist by Hedman, the Swede’s third in the match.

The three assists mean that the 33-year-old from Örnsköldsvik is now in shared fourth place on the list for the league’s highest-scoring defenders with 32 points. Rasmus Dahlin – who scraped together 28 points – is number eight on the same list.
