Rash of Attempted Murder Loads Laid in Brantford Area

In Just Five Recent Weeks, Five Men Were Charged With Attempted Murder Involving Four Separate Incidents in the Brantford Area.

It’s A Sharp Jump in Such Charges, Especially in Light of the Fact that, in 2024, Only Two Attempted Murder Charges Were Laid in Brantford, Along with Two Murder Charges. In Each of the Two Previous Years, Only One Attempted Murder Charge Was Laid in the City.

Of the five Laid charges Between Jan. 10 and Feb. 13, Two relates to the violent Robbery of the Downtown Pawn Shop on Colborne Street on Jan. 22 WHERE Two People Were Shot and Another Person Viciously Assaulted.

Ramel Alexander, 21, of Dundalk, and Rich Myers, 18, of Mississauga, have each been loaded with Two Counts of Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault, Possession of A Stolen Vehicle, Failing to Stop While Being Pursued by Police and a variety of Firearm offer.

Records Show the Men Are Accused of Attacking Three Men at the Shop With A Tire Iron, Baseball Bat and a Torque Wrench, Along with at Least One Gun.

Alexander Was Arrested on the Night of the Incident by A Police K-9 Unit and Myers was arrested feb. 10.

The Man Underwent “12 Hours of Multiple Surgeries” and was expected to recover, Said the post on gofundme.

Ali was charged with attempted murder and conspiracy to commit morde. At the time, Police Said they Didn’t Believe The Shooting was random.

In February, Brantford Police Arrested A 37-Year-Old English Lane Man After a woman, who has the same name, arrived at the Hospital with serious stab wounds.

Police Arrested the Man and, Along With Attempted Murder, Charged Him with Breaching A Number of Court Orders, Including Not Contacting the Victim, Not Having Weapons, and not Being in the Presence of the Woman Unless He Had No Alcohol or Illegal Drugs in his system.

Adding to the list, on Jan. 18, Six nations police arrested A 28-YEAR-OHSWEKEN Man who is accused of trying to run over his intimatus partner with a car.

Along with attempted Murder, he was charged with odd and dangerous driving, obstructing police, refusing to comply with a demand for a break or blood sample and breaching his promise to keep the peace tooward the woman.
