The crew of Sotkamon Jymy, who won their fifth consecutive victory in Superpes on Tuesday, made an effort to reach the top of the league after a weak period at the beginning of June.
For Jymy Sotkamo, who beat Joensuun Maila 2–1 (2-7, 11-2, 2-1) in his win, the victory was the fourth in a row against opponents belonging to the better half of the series.
– We were already catching up with the game in the opening period, but at JoMa the game was opened by the men, who do not usually bear the main responsibility for home runs. The last care was missing in the opening period. It was a big deal to turn this into a win, described Jymy’s game manager Iiro Haimi.
The host’s number one hero was once again a joker leading the batting statistics Roope Korhonenwho opened the home team’s game in the second period by banging an unstoppable triple overtime for 1+2 runs in the lead.

IPV settled the opening period with a tying wildcard in the last inning Mikko Kosonen homed with a double-edge twist in a one-out situation Eero Kuitunen. IPV has taken five of its 13 points of the season from Seinjokiki.
In IPV, the roles of top changers were filled by KPL’s loan officer Aapo Kinnunen (at 6/6) and the one rented from Manse Konsta Hötyläinen (at 4/8).
