Rapper G Herbo admits – could get a long sentence

On Friday, he pleaded guilty in federal court in Springfield, Massachusetts. He was charged with conspiracy to defraud and perjury. It writes Deadline.

Prosecutor Joshua Levy says the rapper “used the victims’ debit cards to finance an extravagant lifestyle and to further his career”.

In 2017 and 2018, G Herbo, along with another person, allegedly used text messages, social media and email to share account information that was taken from the dark web.

G Herbo is from the East side of Chicago, from a neighborhood that was called “Terror town” because of its gang crime and gun violence. He released his debut album “Humble beast” in 2017. In 2020, his full-length “PTSD” placed in the top seven on the Billboard 200 chart.

The sentence, which will come in November, could give G Herbo a prison sentence of up to 25 years.
