Today, it costs SEK 400 for women who come to the gynecological emergency room in Region Skåne for trace protection after sexual abuse. But the fee will disappear at the turn of the year. This is reported by SVT.
All parties in the health and medical care committee stand behind the proposal, which will likely be hammered out before the turn of the year.
As early as autumn 2021, Region Skåne’s health care board wanted to remove the patient fees for people who have been victims of sexual abuse, and from January 1 all fees for the patient group will disappear.
