A 35-year-old man is sentenced for raping and robbing a woman in her 80s, reports P4 Skaraborg.
The incident occurred in the woman’s home in Skaraborg in May 2017, when the woman woke up to the man putting a pillow over her head and assaulting her. Afterwards, he robbed her of money.
The man admitted that he had intercourse with the woman, but claimed that it was voluntary. He is now sentenced against his denial to three years in prison and deportation. He must also pay just over SEK 140,000 in damages to the woman.
