Convicted of two and acquitted of one crime
In addition to the rape, the man was charged with an assault and causing bodily harm in May – he is acquitted of the latter count but sentenced for the assault.
The man is sentenced to a three-year prison sentence and must pay SEK 215,000 in damages to the woman. He must also pay SEK 10,000 in damages to the person who was abused.
The verdict can be appealed no later than December 19.
