A Romanian court determined on Tuesday evening that Andrew Tate should remain in custody.
The controversial British-American influencer is accused of rape and human trafficking.
Andrew Tates was arrested together with his brother Tristan on December 29 in Bucharest and detained for 30 days on suspicion of rape and human trafficking.
During Tuesday, Tate appealed the arrest decision in a Romanian court, but during the evening the decision came from the court that the arrest should remain.
According to the Romanian authorities, the two brothers, together with two Romanian women, must have created an “organized criminal group with the aim of recruiting and exploiting women”.
The prosecutor suspects that Tate has planned to exploit women, including by forcing them to participate in pornographic material. In addition, the influencer is suspected of having lured women into protitution with the promise of marriage and relationships.
