Raozy Pellerin, breaking the silence of the fight of refugees in France

Raozy Pellerin was born in Marseille, to parents of Malagasy and Comorian origins, and grew up on the island of Reunion. She studied international law. After several years in the Netherlands, she now lives in Lyon where she continues her career as a lawyer specializing in international crimes with a Swiss NGO. Bibiche is his first novel.

Bibiche

I promise, she won’t cry. She will tell you about herself. She is Bibiche. What can she add ? To tell you that, no, she didn’t come on a makeshift boat, piled up among dozens of men and women. She did not nearly drown while waiting for Italian coast guards to pull her out of the water. She did not flee a war zone. No, she is from the Democratic Republic of Congo. She was not threatened by the rebel movement M23 nor by Lubanga’s troops. She is simply from Kinshasa. His story probably does not deserve your attention. This story, however, she will have to try to tell it to you. Listen to her, she only has you. »(Excerpt from the novel Plon editions)
