Hendriks had been out for some time this season with a cruciate ligament injury. That is not the case this time. “Of course I am very disappointed,” says Hendriks. “But at the same time there is relative relief, because I have not suffered another cruciate ligament injury. I will once again work hard on my recovery and fully focus on a successful season 2023/2024.”
