Rally drivers and hockey players made up in Karlstad before the EC rally Royal rally of Scandinavia

A hockey challenge between Swedish and Norwegian rally drivers – as well as players from Färjestad BK’s women’s team in the NDHL. That’s how the EC rally Royal Rally of Scandinavia got off to a flying start on Wednesday evening at Stora Torget in Karlstad.

Purpose: To snip.

The Swedish rally drivers were the best at ice hockey

The winner was, perhaps somewhat unexpectedly, the Swedish team consisting of Oliver Solberg, Johan Kristoffersson, Mille Johansson and Isak Reiersen. The Norwegian opponents in the form of Petter Solberg, Eyvind Brynildsen, Frank Tore Larsen and Mads Østberg did not have much to oppose – and neither did the players from Färjestad’s women’s team (Julia Pettersson, Emma Murén, Jule Flötgen) together with municipal councilor Anders Tallgren (S) managed to defeat the Swedish rally guys.

Johan Kristoffersson believes in Oliver Solberg in the EC rally

Johan Kristoffersson was the top scorer in the Swedish team – but Oliver Solberg offered by far the hardest shot.

– I took the most points in the team, but now I leave the driving to Oliver so he can win it, says Johan Kristoffersson.
