Rainbow Park was closed for a police investigation Sunday morning after suspected gunshots were heard coming from the park area at 6 am, police said.
No further evidence of a shooting was found and the park was reopened to the public shortly before 11 am, police said, noting there was no known risk to public safety.

Officers contained and searched the park, adjacent waterfront area and neighboring yards and made use of a police drone for a visual search from the air, police said.
Police thanked people for their patience and assistance with the investigation.
