Rainbow boardwalk vandalized again

OPP are seeking assistance from the public to identify the person involved in another incident of vandalism at the Rainbow Boardwalk in front of the Station Arts Center in Tillsonburg.

Sometime overnight on Sunday, June 9, an individual drove a red-and-white dirt bike onto the boardwalk on Bridge Street West and, using the rotation of the rear tire, removed paint and damaged the wood.

The suspect is described as wearing a black helmet, a light-colored hooded sweatshirt, and dark-colored pants. No plate was observed.

Video surveillance footage can be viewed on Station Arts Centre’s Facebook page.

Oxford OPP continues to investigate. Updates will be provided when available.

The Pride walkway was also vandalized on May 27 by an individual on a red-and-white dirt bike. The suspect was described as wearing a black helmet with the visor up, a light-colored hooded sweatshirt with small white lettering on the chest and across the entire back, jeans and dark-colored shoes or boots.
