“We looked at all crossings. These two locations resulted in the need to do something about them in the form of railway barriers,” says deputy André van Schie. However, he emphasizes that more measures are being taken, including at other crossings. “We are going to improve the sight lines in some places and organize the traffic differently.” There is also discussion about pruning greenery and applying lines and extra markings to increase safety.
