It’s the story of young French girls who can no longer be accountable for a word (the nif, honour), who can no longer be spied on, judged, infantilized by the great family circle and by his community. Young girls who become irreversibly transgressive.
This is what the investigation of Rahma Adjadj28, a graduate of the Institute of Journalism in Bordeaux, herself at the heart of this investigation which appears in Editions Les Arènes under the title We the transgressives, these young French women of North African origin who free themselves from taboos. An investigation that begins in an intimate bedroom and emerges with the desire of a whole generation that no longer wants to sacrifice anything: neither its emancipation nor its origins.
