It was SVT’s music program “PSL” that earlier this week concluded that something about the band Kent would be revealed on June 6 at 07:47.

Through the numbers, many fans have formed hopes that the band would reunite. But it would then turn out to be something else entirely. It was all about Kent releasing a paid app. An app that will take fans back to the band’s earliest history in Eskilstuna.

And yes, the whole thing has stirred up emotions to say the least.

In P3 The morning session expressed Margret Atladottir that she is “rose furious” and that it is downright ugly towards the fans who have been deceived. Aftonbladet was the first to draw attention to this.

– I think it’s playing with people’s emotions. And I don’t think you do it this way, said Margret.

And yes, there were significantly more people than Atladottir who were upset, which was evident in the comments section.

Neither Kent nor SVT has responded to the whole thing.
