Rage against Ica’s odd recipe: “Eat the shit yourselves”

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Right now, a rumor is spreading in both Sweden and Europe that there may be insects in food without consumers needing to be informed about it.

The rumor is based on a conspiracy theory based on the world’s leaders wanting to force people to eat insects and bugs instead of meat, writes Fortune.

In Sweden, it is unusual for insects to be found in food, and if there are, it must be stated on the packaging. Recent rumors have caused the Swedish Food Agency to update its information about insects and food to prevent the spread of false information.

Here you can read Ica’s unusual tip angers customers: “Will boycott you”.

“Is this for real?”

Last week wrote News24 about Ica being involved in this rumor when the food giant’s article “The insects approach the plate”, did not go down well with the customers.

“If you’re going to sneak insects into your products, many will boycott you with me. The brainwashing seems to have set in…”, was just one of the comments on Facebook about the article.

Now creates an old one recipe for “Insect salad with chili and garlic and roasted vegetables” from Ica new anger at the company. The six-year-old recipe has gained new circulation and at the time of writing has 145 comments – where conspiracy theories are mixed with disgust for insects as food.

“What are you really doing?! Disgusting! We will NEVER bow down to the new world order. The fake climate crisis you are propagating will make more people wake up to it. You should be boycotted for this!” writes a person.

“This is not human food, get rid of this!” writes another.

“We look through the agenda”

Several people write that they will now stop shopping at Ica.

Nyheter24 has contacted ICA for a comment.
