Before the New Year’s bingo, many experienced problems with their lottery tickets, something like News24 previously written about. Even before the evening’s bingo, there were several people who bought lottery tickets and discovered that there was an incorrect start time on the lottery ticket. The incorrect start time must have appeared both in TV supplements and on the lottery tickets, which resulted in several people missing the first part of the game.
– We don’t usually play the lotto, but we’re playing tonight precisely because it’s Epiphany. We even bought a double ticket. We are disappointed of course. It feels sad to miss the chance to call in, say two people who The evening paper talked to.

No compensation
Several people have under one post on Bingolottos Instagram expressed their displeasure.
“Bad style. Missed half an hour,” writes one.
“Why does it say 18:30 on the lottery ticket when you start broadcasting at 18:00? Many people miss out because of this,” writes another.
Bingolotto has apologized and explains that all lotteries going forward will show the correct time.
“We are truly sorry. We have done our very best to ensure that all lotteries have the correct channel and broadcast time, but in some cases we unfortunately did not have time to adjust this before the lotteries went to print. Going forward, all lotteries will show the correct time,” writes they in a comment.
