Radio profile ran full with burning tires on E4

It was at the end of October that a well-known Swedish radio profile was stopped by the police on E4. The police had reacted to the fact that the man was driving very fast and that the tire of the man’s car, a Volkswagen, appeared to be on fire.

Sparks flew about the tire, and pictures from the preliminary investigation report show how one of the car’s tires is so worn down that it is almost completely non-existent. A large part of the rim was also worn away.

The radio profile was blown, and it was then clear that when he exhaled, he had 1.04 milligrams per liter in his blood. This corresponds to approximately 2.0 parts per thousand. That’s over the limit for aggravated drunk driving.

The radio profiler was too drunk to be questioned

The first interrogation with the radio profile had to be interrupted. This as he was simply judged to be far too drunk to be able to carry out the interrogation.

The radio profiler later pleaded guilty, saying he had drunk two bottles of wine the night before but said he felt sober enough to get behind the wheel and drive.
