Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

+ In Sölvesborg, the Sweden Democrats overtake the Social Democrats as the largest party in the municipal elections. SD, with the profile Louise Erixon, rises a whopping 9.9 percentage points and looks to be supported by 38.9 percent of the vote. The Social Democrats reach 28.7 percent in the municipality.

+ In Skåne’s Landskrona, the Liberals make a strong choice. The party looks set to reach 38.1 percent of the vote, growing by 3.9 percentage points. Here is the popular Torkild Strandberg, former Member of Parliament, who is chairman of the municipal board.

“My party and I are happy for the great support the residents of Landskrona have shown and that we feel humbled by the task that now awaits,” he writes on Facebook.

+ In Karlstad, which has been governed by a blue-green majority since 2010, there could possibly be a change of power. The Moderates and the Christian Democrats are holding their positions, but the Liberals, the Green Party and the Center Party look set to lose their mandates. The Social Democrats grow by 7.5 percentage points to 36.7 percent, and receive four additional mandates.

+ In Boden, the Social Democrats almost reach their own majority, since the party climbed to 48.4 percent, plus 14.2 percentage points.

+ In Lycksele, the Christian Democrats make strong progress and become the second largest party behind the Social Democrats with 30.2 percent. It is an increase of a whopping 12.6 percentage points compared to 2018, and it looks like there may be a change of power in the municipality.

— No one has guessed at these levels. It is much higher than we could ever imagine, the trust we see from the Lycksele residents so far, says KD municipal councilor Roland Sjögren to The Västerbottens-Kuriren.

+ In Knivsta, the party Knivsta.nu gets just over 28 percent of the votes, and becomes the municipality’s largest party by far. The leader is the pub crawler and former Moderate Matilda Hübinette says she is overwhelmed.

“Regardless of how it ends, we feel that we have made a good election campaign and there are many people who have contributed to this,” says Matilda Hübinette to UNT.

+ In the S stronghold of Oskarshamn, there may be a change of power for the first time in 92 years. The Social Democrats are still the largest at 32.3 percent, but both the Moderates and the Sweden Democrats are making progress, and could coordinate with the Christian Democrats, according to The barometer. However, it is also possible that the Social Democrats and the Moderates, just like today, will continue to lead the municipality together.

+ The young Skövde party, only five months old, looks set to become the third largest party in Skövde. The party, which was formed by breakaways from other parties, gets almost 14.7 percent.
