Rabbit paradise in Lexmond is doing too well They dig

Rabbits in the Netherlands are actually not doing well at all. Fatal diseases led to their being granted protected status. Remarkably, they do do well in a small stretch of river dune on the Lek. A bit too good, sees forester René Garskamp. And so in the coming years, hundreds of animals will be forced to move to Amsterdam. “They dig up all the native plants here.”
