Quentin Tarantino reveals which films themselves traumatized him

Quentin Tarantino is not squeamish about violence in his films. The ears scene from Reservoir Dogs, for example, disturbed millions of fans. Nevertheless, there are two films that traumatized even the cult director. One is a horror film. The other a Disney classic.

Quentin Tarantino had to leave the cinema for horror films and children’s fairy tales

He explained to the Los Angeles Times:

Bambi is known to traumatize children. It’s a cliche, but it’s true. The only other movie I couldn’t stand was The Last House on the Left. [Es gibt Gemeinsamkeiten.] They both play in the woods and I said to both of them: “I have to get out of here!”

Those who know the films will be able to understand the traumatic scenario in both. Bambi’s mother’s death is deeply engraved in the minds of many Disney fans. In the case of The Last House on the Left, the shock is perhaps even more understandable. After all, shows Wes Craven’s debut film in addition to various death scenes, there is also a particularly brutal rape.

Viewers of Tarantino films will certainly have had the same experience. Fans are still talking about a traumatic Tarantino scene even after 28 years. and the director is not yet at the end of his career.
