But now the court’s information manager announces Margaret Thorgren that queen Silvia has chosen to leave the Olympics, according to The evening paper.

Queen Silvia has left the Olympics to travel to her big brother Ralf Sommerlath in Belgium. Why she has chosen to travel to her brother right now is unclear, but Thorgren says it is about family reasons.
– For family reasons, the queen has chosen to travel to her brother who lives in Belgium, says Thorgren to Aftonbladet.
The king is still at the Olympics to cheer on all the Swedish athletes.
