Last year, the Soest municipal council released almost 1.5 million euros to set up De Basis. Due to rising costs and setbacks, another 750,000 euros had to be added this spring. For example, a temporary solution had to be found for the power supply, because Stedin will not be able to install a normal connection to the overcrowded electricity network for another three years.
