In the third leg of the procession, the story of the Queen’s 70-year reign was presented through twelve milestones. Elisabeth’s wedding saw a Bollywood version, while the coronation saw an Afro-Caribbean interpretation of the carnival.

At the end of the procession, music performances, including a pop star, were heard in front of Buckingham Palace From Ed Sheeran.

The queen, dressed in a green costume, appeared quite briefly on the palace balcony, accompanied by the prince.
