Denmark – Hungary
Perhaps the quarter-final that is easiest to predict in advance. Here, there is no doubt that it is Denmark who stand as favorites to win the match. According to odds for winners of the handball World Cup, Denmark has the lowest – and Hungary has the highest. Therefore, we believe that the Danes will win the match with a margin of several balls.
Norway – Spain
If the quarter-final between Denmark and Hungary is very easy to predict – then Norway’s match against Spain is the opposite. Very uncertain and very even odds testify to the difficulty of our betting tip. Spain has a slightly more star-studded squad, which makes us lean towards a Spanish victory.
Egypt – Sweden
Sweden is finally put to a serious test in the handball WC. Sweden has previously met lower ranked teams – but did everything with flying colours. It will be difficult for Egypt to beat the favorites Sweden. It does not help Egypt to play in front of a packed Tele2 Arena in Stockholm. We think it will be a reasonably comfortable victory for Sweden.

France – Germany
There are not many national teams that would stand with lower odds than France in a handball match. Germany is not good enough to win a “normal” match against France. Here, something out of the ordinary is required for Germany to have a chance. Much suggests that Germany’s only saving grace may be in goalkeeper Anderas Wolff – who impressed greatly in their last game against Norway.
