According to Putin, Russia and the United States could cooperate in our “new areas”, referring to the Ukrainian regions that Russia has occupied.
Russian president Vladimir Putin Said Monday that he was ready to discuss investments with the United States in mineral reserves in areas Russia has conquered Ukraine.
Putin commented on the matter in the TV challenge after he had discussed with the country’s government about rare earth and mineral resources in Russia.
Putin said that Russia is ready to work with “foreign partners, including Americans on the development of rare ground reserves in our new areas”, referring to the Ukraine areas that Russia has occupied.
He also said that American and Russian companies have been in contact and discussed joint economic projects related to the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict. Also US President Donald Trump Earlier on Monday, wrote a message service in Truth Social that Russia and the United States have had significant discussions about economic development projects between countries.
Trump, for his part, has called for Ukraine to sign an agreement that gives the United States a privileged access to valuable minerals in Ukraine.
