According to the decision published in the Russian State Law Information System, Putin expanded the scope of the decree that provides for facilitating the granting of Russian citizenship.
THE RIGHT TO MAKE A SIMPLIFIED APPLICATION FOR RECOGNITION OF RUSSIAN CITIZENSHIP
With the said decision, residents of the so-called Donestk and Luhansk Republics, as well as permanent residents of all regions of Ukraine, have the right to apply for a simplified application for Russian citizenship.
THE DECISION IN 2019 WAS INCLUDED IN TWO REGIONS
