Russian President Putin spoke to the state media. He stated that Sweden and Finland’s NATO memberships were meaningless and announced that they would build a military buildup on the Finnish border.
Stating that Russia is ready for a nuclear war, but there is no necessary situation for this yet, Putin said, “If the United States conducts a nuclear test, Russia will do the same.”
Putin threatened to use nuclear weapons in case of an attack on Russia.
Speaking about the American elections, the Russian leader said, “We did not intervene in any country’s elections. We will continue to work with the elected American leader.”
Putin also stated that Trump accused him of having sympathy for Biden during his presidency.
