Putin pays tribute to dead: Stopped civil war
A civil war was practically prevented in Russia last Saturday, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at an event with military and security forces in Moscow.
He describes those present as “true defenders of the fatherland”, according to state media reporting.
— . . . Who, in a difficult situation for the country, stood side by side with his comrades in the way of unrest that had inevitably resulted in chaos, says Putin.
A minute’s silence has been held for the Russian soldiers who were killed in the uprising of the Wagner forces. As far as is known, several of them were pilots who were in the military helicopters that were shot down on Russian soil.
