Russian President Vladimir Putin has no plans to visit Saudi Arabia in the near future, according to the Kremlin power headquarters.
Thus, speculation is dismissed on an imminent meeting between Putin and US President Donald Trump, who on Monday said he will visit Saudi Arabia at the earliest next month.
“This is only the plans of the American head of state, which are not in any way related to Putin,” says Kreml’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
He also says that there is no concrete date or place for a “possible meeting” between the Russian and the US president.
Since Trump became president again, he and Putin have had two well -known phone calls, but has not met physically. However, delegations from each country have had conversations in Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyad regarding Russia’s war against Ukraine.
