Putin and Erdogan discussed Black Sea agreements

Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan talked about the possibility of restoring the 2022 agreement on secure shipping for Ukrainian cargo vessels in the sea, says the Russian power center Kremlin. Russia withdrew from the agreement in 2023.

According to the Kremlin, the presidents must also have discussed raise western sanctions towards Moscow, in order to re -allow Russian exports of food and fertilizers. The conversation takes place the day after the EU agreed to increase sanctions against Russia as a result of the war.

Collaboration between Turkey and Russia is of utmost importance to solve regional problems, Erdogan is said to have told his Russian colleague, according to the presidential office in Ankara.
