The Svea Court of Appeal broadly determines the punishment for eight men who were previously convicted of a revenge action after the murder of twelve-year-old Adriana in Stockholm.

A 23-year-old man is sentenced, just like in the district court, to prison for almost 16 years.

The shooting that the Court of Appeal reviewed took place in Vällingby in September 2020. It was revenge for the murder of twelve-year-old Adriana, who was accidentally shot dead at a gas station in Norsborg, south of Stockholm, a month earlier.

Two of the defendants in the Vällingby case were at the scene when Adriana was shot, and felt that they themselves were the targets of the shots that time.

32 shots were fired at several men in Vällingby. Only one hit the arm of the person the shooter was aiming at. Other shots missed, but hit, among other things, windows in three different apartments.

In the months that followed, new preparations were made to murder the intended victims of the shots in Vällingby.

Two men receive reduced sentences in the Court of Appeal’s verdict.
