Province of Utrecht – Puck Pieterse won the World Cup competition in Gavere, Belgium this afternoon. The cyclocross rider from Amersfoort was the first to cross the line, just ahead of the Dutch Fem van Empel. This is the first victory of this season for the 21-year-old Pieterse. With the win, she puts an end to Van Empel’s winning streak.
