Utrecht – The Public Prosecution Service has asked the court in The Hague to impose prison sentences of up to sixteen months and one community service order in a case involving multi-million dollar fraud at the well-known sushi chain Sumo, which had a branch in Utrecht’s Potterstraat. Previously, the suspected catering entrepreneurs were not punished because a documentary was made during the investigation, which neither the court nor the defense knew about. The Public Prosecution Service wants to see this differently in the appeal.
